DESCRIPTION:Maybole and District Young Arts are holding their annual Young Arts Festival in Maybole Town Hall on Sunday 27th September\, between 1100 and 1630h.\n\nThis is a free public event for young people aged 6 – 18 and their families. This year there will be an Indian theme and the central workshops will be led by an Indian Dance company\, Ihayami. In addition there will be a great range of activity tables available in the main hall\, including henna tattoos\, Indian style jewellery\, Dreamcatchers\, Jumping Clay\, storytelling\, and a Competition to decorate card Elephants\, with fantastic prizes including cinema vouchers.\n\nLive music will take place throughout the day\, ranging from a classical quartet\, “Quattro”\, to Hazel McDowall\, Music student\, to a young rock band\, Rubicon. To complete the picture\, we have ‘probably the best pop-up cafe in Ayrshire’.\n\nAll children and families are welcome to attend.
